ApplyCairn
ApplyCairn privacy policy
How ApplyCairn handles local workspace data, AI host processing, connector receipts, website analytics, exports, and deletion.
Data location
ApplyCairn does not operate a user-profile database. Career Inbox entries, private growth notes, approved evidence, resumes, accomplishments, review plans, jobs, public professional contacts, trackers, approvals, and audit records stay in the user's selected local folder or user-controlled connected account.
How data is used
Data is used only for the career and job-search workflows the user requests. Captured material is not treated as a verified claim until the user completes privacy review and confirmation. ApplyCairn performs no model training, sells no personal data, and does not request a model API key.
Sharing and retention
The AI host and any connector the user authorizes process data under their own terms. ApplyCairn does not retain a server-side copy. Portable exports exclude access tokens and connector credentials. Every proof upload offers local copy, redacted copy, reference only, or cancel.
Personal-only context
A personal-only note is kept in a separate encrypted app-only vault. It is not available to model-facing tools and is never included in resumes, reviews, promotion cases, outreach, applications, or presentations unless you explicitly change its use policy.
Employer material and connected sources
Before preserving screenshots, documents, or employer material, ApplyCairn asks the user to keep a local copy, create a redacted copy, save a reference only, or cancel. Optional source assistance is read-only and limited to the provider, account, date range, and records the user explicitly selects. Imported records remain candidates until reviewed.
Public website analytics
The public ApplyCairn website loads Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-RZ85K4JD4B with analytics storage denied by default. Page-view measurement and analytics storage are enabled only after a visitor allows analytics. Google may process website usage and device data under its own terms. The public website has no resume upload or job-search workspace access, so those files are not sent through this website analytics tag. Visitors can change their analytics choice from the footer and use browser controls to remove existing cookies.
Control
Users can export the complete workspace, revoke connector access, move the workspace, or permanently delete the local copy.
